The Office of the Internship Program Coordinator connects the world of the classroom with the world of post high school opportunities and experiences. The Internship Program Coordinator working in this office facilitates a broad spectrum of career-based services tailored to the specific needs of the student. Services include guidance, career assessment, job development, internship placements, and specialized transition services, including connections to recreational activities and adult service providers. Students are offered connections to business and community speakers, externships, and career-based educational materials, and are provided the support necessary to incorporate real-world, work-related experiences in their internship program. Business and community members are offered the opportunity to be involved with the Chariho learning community in a meaningful and effective manner.
